Snowdonia has always been an inspiration for me for what Landscapes can be, whilst still being in the UK and not the Alps or elsewhere.
It truly is an incredible place with a range of different views and features and history. However, here is a selection of the best pictures from the past 3 years that I've gone.

The views seen in Snowdonia no doubt can be found elsewhere but the beauty of Snowdonia is that the beauty is subtle and gentle and not what you would expect of a little national park hidden away. In essence, its rather nice and its beauty is one that is hidden, much more so than anywhere else I know with mountains.
This is one of my most prized photos from Snowdonia. Taken back in 2017, this was an incredible day of sitting there and watching the madness that was people having their photo taken with the Bewts-y-Coed falls in the background, meanwhile I was no doubt ruining lots of pictures by doing some proper pictures myself. One of these such photos was this.
I would love to say that I had planned the details of the shot precisely, considering the flow levels and the salmon season and the pattern of local herons and such, but no, luck was on my side this time.
I sat there, saw salmon leaping, a Heron hunting and then ended up taking a series of photos from this vantage point. I took maybe 50 photos, 8 or so with salmons in shot but this one was the best, with the Heron looking up at me, distinctly pissed off that I was mildly disturbing its lunch, although I'd be entertained to see it catch a salmon that big, and as such, it missed this massive salmon that went straight past its ear.
